Pet policy

We can’t wait to meet them. At the Blue Heron we understand that pets are family — and we’re happy to welcome yours.

The short version

• Dogs and cats are allowed, based on room availability.
• A maximum of two pets per room.
• The pet fee is $35 per pet, per night.

Tell us in advance

If you intend to bring your pet, please mention it when you book. We have a limited number of pet-friendly rooms, so we ask guests to declare any accompanying pets in advance. Failure to do so may result in the reservation being denied with no refund issued.

While you are here

• Please be kind to other guests and clean up after your pets. Pet litter disposal stations are available on the property. A $50 fine is charged where guests do not clean up after their pets.
• All pets must be on a leash at all times during your stay.
• Pets must not be left unaccompanied or unattended at any time and must be kept in a secure crate whenever they are inside the guest room.
• Pets are not permitted in the pool area.
• Any disturbance such as barking must be curtailed so other guests are not inconvenienced. Pets creating a noise nuisance may be asked to leave.
• Please contact the front desk or housekeeping to arrange a convenient time to service your room.
• Guests are responsible for all property damage and personal injury resulting from their pet. Pet-caused room damage or extraordinary cleaning is charged at the actual assessed cost. There is no fixed amount; it varies by property, room and the nature and extent of the damage or cleaning required.
